How dare he go scoring goals like that. Get aaht my club you talented CUNT. WHO wants to see cloggers like Chris Wood coming on instead. Bring back the big Sam tactics.

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez - signed
I'd treat media quotes about his wages with a massive grain of salt. They just guess or make it up.

I think we'd be hard pressed to find a player who could turn a game around in the second half like Chicha does. The main problem isn't him. The main problem is that our main striker has stopped scoring.

1 goal every 181 premier league minutes for us, when have we ever had a player that scores so often?

A good goals to minute ratio is essential for a super sub but still....

"Why should we give a flying about his wages ? It’s not our money. "

Never understood this argument. Because we know we have limited budget. so a sub on £140k is costing the club elsewhere. not a hard concept is it?

imagine this place if we lost.

He wants to start, or he’ll probably leave, we just need to buy someone who can play with him in a front two... can’t be that hard.

Decent off the bench, but we can't afford a £140k a week sub

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez - signed
That's the issue. Best paid player for cameos. Brilliant at weekend, but woeful at other matches. Diving, no leading, can't shoot beyond 6 yards.

More useful than Carroll Carehome but my dead nan has better form than that wanker.

Come back CFC. All is forgiven.

Second best fox in the box in Premier League history, behind Tim Cahill.

He has always been a super sub...that is his natural role.

A very expensive one at that

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez - signed
He gets paid a lot...a lot for our club, which always draws more attention and criticism .

If we have to, need to, want to get rid of the rest of our strikers, I would still probably keep him. And I am not as convinced as some people that there is an easy way to get rid of him without subsidising his wages.

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez - signed
Always liked him as a poacher and that's what he is he isn't a complete forward solo striker type. Lone strikers do all their best work outside the box, Hernandez does his inside. If you expect him to work harder running all over the place he won't be in the right position when it matters. Love him as part of two up but we don't have the midfield for that.

Tomshardware 1:02 Mon Mar 18
Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez - signed
Seems to get a lot of criticism, he's the best goalscorer at the club, when he's given chances he usually sticks them away. He can't play the lone forward role but he's a massive asset to the club and people saying he should be sold must be lacking in football knowledge.

I'm pleased he's started scoring. That's all you really need from a striker.

Re: Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez - signed
Yeah sorry Darby... I just don't enjoy watching him lumbering around the football field... and having the occasional 40 yarder that thunders 20 foot over the bar... think we are little bit better than that... actually surprised he ain't in Dubai... he normally is this time of the year...
